Happy UK National Tea Drinking Day! This advert in a Chatteris window claims that Typhoo ‘relieves indigestion’, hearking back to the brand’s early history when company founder John Sumner’s sister claimed her tea did just that. Not surprising then that the sticker is in the window of a former chemist’s shop, run from the 1920s onwards by Hedley Dwelly and his son of the same name.
